BurlyBirdie Return & Refund Policy

At BurlyBirdie, we want you to feel confident in your purchase. This policy outlines your rights and our process for returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

 


 

Returns

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Your item must be unworn, unused, and in the same condition that you received it

  • It must include original tags and packaging

  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase

Returns must be approved before being sent. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how to send your item back. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

 


 

Australian Consumer Law (Important Notice)

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure, and

  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage

You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

 


 

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your item is:

  • Defective

  • Damaged

  • Incorrect

Contact us immediately at burlybirdie@gmail.com so we can assess the issue and resolve it promptly.

For faulty or incorrect items, BurlyBirdie will cover return shipping costs.

 


 

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Custom or personalised products

Exchanges

The fastest way to get a different item is to:

  1. Return your original item

  2. Once approved, place a new order

 


 

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.

Items must still meet return conditions:

  • Unworn and unused

  • With tags and original packaging

  • Proof of purchase required

 


 

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method

  • Processing occurs within 10 business days

Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process the refund.
